Data protection

Data protection declaration

The protection of your data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection declaration we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us via a form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass on these data without your consent.

Cookies

When you visit our website, our web servers do not store any of your personal data without your express consent. To improve the functionality of the website, it is of advantage for cookies to be stored temporarily, which is why we ask for your consent when you first visit the website. However, you are not obliged to give this consent and can use the website without it – albeit restricted under certain circumstances.

If you have given your express consent to the storage and use of cookies when visiting our website, our web pages use cookies in several ways. Cookies make the website more user-friendly and efficient. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the browser on your computer. The data are collected or stored exclusively in anonymous or pseudonymous form and do not identify you personally.

We do not by default use social media cookies and we do not pass on any data to social networks. Only an active process in a social media service (“sharing”, “tweeting”, etc.) is recorded.

You can use your browser settings to allow the use of cookies. You can prevent the installation of the cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; please note, however, that in this case it is possible that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website.

The use of cookies is neither required by law nor by contract and it is also not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. There is therefore no obligation to use cookies or to allow their use. The legal basis for the use of cookies is only the consent given by you (Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR). If no consent is given, cookies are not used.

Web analysis service

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how you use the website. As a rule, the cookie-generated data regarding your use of this website will be forwarded to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be stored by Google in shortened form within Member States of the European Union or in other states that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is a complete IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services related to website usage and internet activity. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be associated by Google with any other data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; please note, however, that in this case it is possible that you will not be able to use all the functions of this website. You can additionally prevent the collection of data produced by the cookie and associated with your use of the website (including your IP address), its transmission to, and its processing by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Furthermore, you can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the link below:

Disabling Google Analytics

This sets an opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Your IP address is recorded, but is immediately pseudonymised by deleting the last 8 bits. This means that only a rough localisation is possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement.

To do this, you can either send an email to office@bio-nahrung.at or a letter to Bio- Nahrungsmittel P&H GmbH, Gewerbestraße 2, 5082- Grödig, Austria, or get in touch with us by phone (06246 76384).
